Meter Raja (“the App”) is a digital meter application developed and owned by StepZero Labs Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

1.1 Information You Provide

Driver Details: Name, phone number, vehicle number, permit/registration details (only when required for verification).
Account Credentials: Passwords or PINs you create inside the app (stored securely).

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

Location Information:
We collect real-time location data while the app is running (foreground or background) to calculate distance, fares, and provide an accurate digital meter experience.
Device Information:
Device model, operating system, app version, IP address, and diagnostic information.
Usage Data:
Actions taken inside the app, ride/meter session logs, and crash data.

1.3 No Sensitive Personal Data

We do not collect Aadhar, PAN, financial data, biometric information, or any other sensitive documents.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Accurately calculate distance, time, and fares.
Display trip logs and meter readings.
Improve app accuracy, performance, and security.
Provide customer support and resolve issues.
Prevent fraud, misuse, and ensure compliance with local transport regulations.

3. Location Data Usage (Required by App Store)

Meter Raja requires precise location access to:

Calculate trip distance
Show live meter readings
Log ride routes for transparency and record-keeping

Location data is collected only during active meter sessions and is not used for marketing.

Service Providers: For analytics, crash reporting, and backend hosting (e.g., Firebase, AWS).

We never share personal information with advertisers or marketing platforms.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely on encrypted servers managed by StepZero Labs or trusted cloud providers.

6. Data Retention

Trip logs, meter data, and driver details are retained as long as your account is active.
You may request deletion of your data anytime (see Section 9).
Some data may be retained if required by law.

Meter Raja is intended for adults who operate taxis or autos.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

The app does not contain third-party ads or links.
If any external links are added later, we will update this policy.
